Bridge Fund

The Bridge Fund, now available in Allen County, is the newest way that NEIECC is collaborating with other community partners to support child care programs that are struggling due to the loss in vouchers, and to serve families on the child care voucher waitlist. In partnership with the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne, with GIFT IX funding from the Lilly Foundation, Inc., NEIECC will administer this program using its customized, locally developed software.

NEIECC's first priority with Bridge Fund is to support the financial stability of child care providers. We are doing that by offering temporary assistance for families on the CCDF wait list, so working parents can make afford quality child care. If you are a program that has decreased enrollment because of the loss of vouchers, we want to work with you to reach the families in need.
